Susan Custer is a paralegal in our firm. She works with the paralegals, legal assistants and attorneys to provide superior service to our clients.
After graduating from high school in Long Island, New York, Susan attended Florida State University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Music Education with Magna Cum Laude distinction. She received her Florida Teaching Certification and taught music in both public and private schools in Florida. After a successful career as a music educator, Susan decided to make a career change. Susan attended State College of Florida where she earned an Advanced Certificate in Paralegal Studies and was inducted into Lambda Epsilon Chi (LEX) National Paralegal Honor Society. She is an active member of the Paralegal Association of Florida and the National Association of Legal Assistants. Susan successfully completed the two day Certified Paralegal examination and earned the “CP” professional credential.
In addition to working at Mallard Perez, Ms. Custer is a former principal clarinetist with the Venice Symphony. She practices yoga for relaxation and health.
